New Child Nutrition Learning Management System

The New York State Education Department, Office of Child Nutrition is thrilled to announce the rollout of a new online Learning Management System (LMS)! Within the next few days, all current Summer Food Service Program sponsor’s Child Nutrition Management System designated administrators and users will be sent an email granting access to this new system. For anyone that does not receive an email, but would like to access the online trainings, please complete the request form posted on our website. 

The LMS contains online training courses that can be accessed and completed at a time that is convenient for you. The Summer Food Service Program course catalog includes trainings on Civil Rights, Site Supervisors, Program Updates, Late Claim Process, Potential New Sponsor Training and more. Additional Child Nutrition training courses and resources will be added throughout the year.

Any sponsors that have already completed the mandatory 2024 Sponsor Training by participating in webinars or attending an in-person session do not need to log in and complete any additional training at this time; however, this will be a great resource for you and your staff moving forward. 

SFAs who participate in the National School Lunch program and School Breakfast programs will receive more details at a later date.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
